医疗卫生

全市拥有三级综合性医院1所，二级甲等中医医院1所，二级专科医院4所，
各级各类医疗卫生机构245所，卫生服务体系健全率100%。荣获国家卫生城
市荣誉称号，有国家卫生镇4个。2016被世界卫生组织授予健康城市最佳实
践奖、被世界健康城市联盟授予创新发展奖，是首批全国健康促进县试点地
区并通过国家评估验收。

There are 245 medical and health organizations in Taicang, including
one Grade-3 general hospital, one Grade-2 and Class-A TCM hospital
and four Grade-2 specialized hospitals. Taicang has realized
100% coverage of the health service system. Taicang has been
named the National Sanitary City, with four national sanitary towns. In
2016, it won the award of the WHO for Best Practice in Construction
of Healthy City and the award of Alliance for Healthy Cities for
Innovative Development. It is also one of the first National Health
Promotion Pilot Counties (County-level Cities) that have passed
national evaluation for verification.
