长江口旅游度假区

长江口旅游度假区（浏河镇）是江苏省东部滨江临沪的重镇，明代伟大航海
家郑和七下西洋的起锚地，物理女杰吴健雄、丹青大师朱屺瞻的诞生地。荣
获国家卫生镇、全国环境优美乡镇，中国江海河三鲜美食之乡称号。镇域面
积68平方公里，总人口10万人。
目前，已形成以机电、汽配、新材料、新能源为主的工业体系，是苏州机电
特色产业基地。浏河港是国家一级渔港、是江苏重要的渔业基地。以高端娱
乐、特色餐饮、文化体验、旅游地产为主要功能的长江口旅游度假区加速推
进，并依托已有的丰富旅游资源，着力打造一个产城融合、生态宜居的现代
化滨江城镇。

Yangtze River Estuary Tourist Resort (Liuhe Town) is an important
town of Jiangsu, adjacent to the Yangtze River and Shanghai, the
starting point of Zheng He’s seven voyages to western seas, and the
hometown of famous scientist Chien-Shiung Wu and painting master
Zhu Qizhan. It has been awarded the honors of State-level Sanitary
Town, National Beautiful Town and the Home of Freshwater Fishes
and Seafood. The town covers an area of 68 square kilometers and
has a population of 100,000.
So far, it has formed an industrial system centering on electromechanical
sector, auto parts, new materials and new energy industries and
become the electromechanical industrial base of Suzhou. Liuhe Port is
a Grade I fishing port of China and an important fishery base of Jiangsu
province. Today, the Yangtze River Estuary Tourist Resort, with
high-end entertainment, special catering, cultural experience and
tourism as the main functions, has an accelerated development. Moreover,
it has relied on the existing rich tourism resources to develop a
modern livable riverfront town combining the functions of industrial
base and as well as a living area.
